Codecs?

Hi im having trouble finding the right codec so that i can play some movies through windows media player v.9 and putting some clips into windows movie maker does anyone know where i can download free codecs and which ones i should download..

    This option should be available under MEDIA PLAYER 9.
    If it has trouble playing anything, just open it, and see what Codec you need. If you can, load Media Player 10 or 11, much better gear

    You should definitely try divx.com…they have a free bundle that should fix any problems you’re having. If that doesn’t work, try microsoft, they’re always helpful…Good Luck!

    here is a codec all in one pack, download and install. should be straight forward.
