Is there ANY way of making the computer use ffdshow when playing back mpg files?

When recording on my computer, I use Ulead video studio to record mpg files, only problem is they’re interlaced and makes them look all liney and crap. I have ffdshow and it can de-interlace any mpeg-4 file, but Is there a way to make it proccess ordinarry mpg files?

   You have to set it as the default for opening mpeg-4 files. You’ll probably find something about that in the settings of the program.
